Papers - Neil Walker

Morning all,

So sorry, messed up the time so this is a
bit late!!

Good morning everyone, how are
we all?
Another month rushing past us, where
are the days going?
Not long now and it will be the longest
day already!  Eeeeekkk!
Hey ho soon be Christmas ha ha!!

Well that's depressed you all now
hasn't it?

Ok, I'll shut up then shall I?

On with the important stuff, what are we
looking at this week....
papers!
There are lots of beautiful papers out
there, just begging to be used.
What has Neil been up to this week
with papers....

A lovely scrapbook layout, something we
don't do enough here!

Cut your patterned paper into random
 width strips

Lay them out and adhere to another 12 x 12
piece using double sided tape top and bottom

Select your photos and mount onto plain
 pale pink co- ordinated card.

Add a little gesso and dry brush over the card
to tone down the vivid pink.

Matt your photos onto this piece too...

Add your writing onto a small white tag.

To finish - Adhere the photos in place.
 Create little decorative elements using
 Liquid pearls and wooden flowers.

Tuck the small labels behind a decorated
 strip as seen.

Add ribbon and a decorative tassel to a couple
of larger tags and tuck them under the
 strips as seen.

This is what Neil used ....

From my Stash -
Lace, Beaded Tassels, Small tags,
Ribbon, Wooden Flowers

Beautiful papers used Neil!
Thank you.

See you tomorrow,

Jane x

  1. Papers, tell me about it... I haven't scrapbooked much lately and have accumulated both papers and pics that need to be used!
Love Neil's layout which is so unlike him in those pink colours.
